Wait! Fall is over? What are you talking about, Lifelong Learning? Well, fall programming is over and we are stepping into Spring Programming now. It’s crazy, we know, but we have to do it.
The whole process starts with a whiteboard full of class ideas . Ignore the handwriting, but yeah, that’s the idea board there. We think of things and then throw them on the wall to see if they will stick! Some do and some don’t. It may seem like there isn’t a lot of rhyme or reason to it, but there is.
So what does this all have to do with anything that you care about? Well, we are looking for class ideas and instructors and we actually like to hear from you when we are making these decisions! We want to know if you have a great idea and we want to know if you know anyone who could teach for us. In fact, we have made the whole process easy for you. Just go check out our course proposal link.
When you head over to the page you will find out things like: Any idea is a good idea. We pay $25 an hour for your teaching time. You can take classes for free (on a space available basis). Yeah, you read that right. Teach and you can take classes for free! Now that is a perk. Do you need a degree? No. A teaching certificate? No. To know what you are talking about? Yes.Here is the link one more time: http://continue.utah.edu/lifelong/courseproposal_intro
So what are you waiting for? Fill out our course proposal now and get your class idea on our wall! If your idea sticks, you may just find yourself molding willing minds this spring!
